ReStore

Ionad Ionnsachaidh Cothrom

This short documentary explains the origins and plans for the future of ReStore, a part of Cothrom in South Uist. Offering training opportunities in furniture restoration and woodworking ReStore collects your unwanted furniture and gives it a new lease of life by restoring, repairing and refurbishing. ReStore also makes birdhouses and benches to order utilising woodworking skills. All the finished products are available to buy in the ReStore shop in Bornish and can be delivered by the ReStore team. With plans in place to build a new shop and workshop it's an exciting time at ReStore.
