Films now online!

All entries for FilmG 2013 are now on our website!  The FilmG team have been very busy since August with Sgioba FilmG all over the country holding workshops in schools.  Dunoon kick started the 12 - 17 competition this year and the team finished off in Oban.  We received 42 films for the 12 - 17 competition and I think you'll all agree that we have some very talented teenagers amongst these films.  We will be announcing the short listed films soon!

Over the past few months we have held a number of workshops for the Adult Competition in Glasgow, Inverness and Skye.  We received 20 films this year for the Adult Competition and judging will take place on Friday 8th of February.

Congratulations to Ali Forbes and Portree High School who won the FilmG Theme Competition in September!  In the competition we invited people to guess this year's FilmG theme. We posted three images online which represented the theme. Prizes included an iPad and a Flip Camera. We received over 300 guesses in the competition, with Ali Forbes, the only person who correctly guessed the theme with Miann (Desire).

The schools made a great effort in guessing this year's theme, and we received many interesting and imaginative suggestions. Portree High School were the closest in guessing the them with their suggestions of miannach (aspire/desire) agus miann-cridhe (heart's desire) resulting in them winning the flip camera.
