The FilmG Youth competition is now closed however there is still plenty of time for adults and community groups to make their films.
The Youth competition closed on the 19 December and although the films will not be reviewed until the New Year, it looks like this year saw the highest number of films entered to date. Among the topics covered was First World War as we celebrated its centenary in 2014. Other films cover difficult teenage themes such as bullying and consequences of parental separation. As usual there appears to be an inspiring array of films entered by Gaelic speaking young people around the country.
The open and community entrants have an extra month to make their films, and what better time than over the Christmas holidays to begin a creative film project!
