Some of our best entries ever have come from those working in the industry keen to show off their skills and ideas, or people who are starting out in their media career wanting to show folk what they're made of. We've always encouraged professionals to enter, but to celebrate the 10th year of FilmG we've decided to dedicate a prize to this specifically.
We want to see people drawing from their experience working on programmes for broadcast, seeking advice from those more experienced, and putting together imaginative and original short films.
If you’re under 30, and work in the media (even if you have a broadcast credit as a director or producer) you are eligible to enter. The prize is one of our best yet – £2,500 to go towards equipment or training as well as a slot at the Glasgow Film Festival where you'll reach a whole new audience. A brilliant opportunity which could open countless doors.
