Do you need FilmG help? 28 August 2023
Schools are back, university students are preparing for their return, and the holidays are over. That means FilmG workshops are starting again.
Anyone who desperately wants to make a film can jump right to the front of the queue. Whether a group or an individual of any age, if you’ve got an idea or want to develop your skills, we can help.
Workshops will run until the end of November, but our schedule is filling up. So whether you represent a high school, a university, or a community, get in touch or be prepared for us to knock at your door.
FilmG has a network of dedicated tutors who can help bring your vision to life, and we have kit and software available for you to use so workshops can be catered towards your needs.
The competition rules are all outlined on our website, but it’s straightforward – create a film shorter than five minutes and submit it to FilmG by 8 December 2023. The films don’t need to be about Gaelic; they just need to be in Gaelic.
This year’s theme is ‘Mo Shealladh’ (My Point of View). Only one category focuses on this, so make your film about whatever you want – a film you would want to watch!
